    The hottest star in our solar system is, of course, the Sun.

    While other stars in the universe might be hotter, within our solar system, the Sun is the undisputed champion. It has a surface temperature of about 5,500 degrees Celsius (9,932 degrees Fahrenheit) and its core reaches a staggering 15 million degrees Celsius (27 million degrees Fahrenheit).
