  • EBLM J0555-57Ab: Discovering the Universe's Smallest Star
    The smallest star known is EBLM J0555-57Ab. It's about 85 times the mass of Jupiter and half the diameter of our Sun.

    It's so small, it's actually smaller than some of the largest planets in our solar system. However, it's still massive enough to sustain nuclear fusion in its core, which is what makes it a star.

    It's important to note that there might be even smaller stars out there that we haven't discovered yet!
