  • Why Can't We See Stars During the Day? - A Simple Explanation
Stars are always there, both day and night! It's just that we can't see them during the day because of the sun's light.

    Here's why:

    * The sun is much closer to Earth than any other star. This means it appears much brighter and its light completely overwhelms the faint light of distant stars.

    * The sun's light scatters in the Earth's atmosphere. This scattered sunlight, known as skyglow, fills the daytime sky with a bright blue color, further obscuring the stars.

At night, the sun is on the other side of the Earth, and its light doesn't reach us directly. This allows the faint light from stars to become visible, creating the beautiful starry sky we see.
