  • Apollo 11 Spacecraft Dimensions: Command, Service & Lunar Modules
The Apollo 11 spacecraft was made up of three main parts:

    * Command Module (CM): This was the main part of the spacecraft where the three astronauts lived and controlled the mission. It was about 10 feet (3 meters) in diameter and 11 feet (3.4 meters) tall.

    * Service Module (SM): This was attached to the Command Module and provided propulsion, power, oxygen, and other essential systems. It was 12.8 feet (3.9 meters) in diameter and 29.5 feet (9 meters) tall.

    * Lunar Module (LM): This was the part that landed on the Moon and carried two astronauts to the surface. It was 33 feet (10 meters) tall when fully assembled.

Overall, the entire Apollo 11 spacecraft, including the launch escape system, was about 36 feet (11 meters) tall and weighed approximately 45,000 pounds (20,000 kg).

Keep in mind, these are just the overall dimensions. The Apollo 11 spacecraft was a complex machine with many different components and systems, and its size varied depending on how you measure it.
