  • Saturn's Moons: How Many Can You See?
    This is a tricky question! It depends on how you define "visible".

    * With the naked eye: You cannot see any of Saturn's moons with the naked eye. Even the largest moon, Titan, is too faint.

    * With a telescope: With a good telescope, you can see a few of Saturn's larger moons, like Titan, Rhea, Iapetus, and Dione.

    * With powerful telescopes or spacecraft: Spacecraft like the Cassini mission have allowed us to see all of Saturn's known moons (currently 83).

    So, the answer is:

    * None with the naked eye.

    * A few with a telescope.

    * 83 with powerful telescopes or spacecraft.
