  • Where is the Sun Located? Understanding its Position in the Solar System and Universe
The Sun is not "in the middle" in any absolute sense. Here's why:

    * The Sun is at the center of our solar system. This means the planets, asteroids, and other objects orbit around it.

    * The Sun is not at the center of the Milky Way galaxy. Our solar system is located on one of the spiral arms of the Milky Way, far from the galactic center.

    * The Milky Way is not at the center of the universe. There's no known center to the universe. It's thought to be expanding in all directions.

So, the Sun is at the center of our solar system, but not the center of anything larger.
