Mercury's Color: Understanding the Planet's Appearance
Mercury doesn't really have a "color" in the way we think of it. It's a rocky planet, and its surface is a
grayish-brown
color, similar to the moon.
This is due to the fact that it's covered in a layer of dust and rock, with craters and plains.
