All the planets in our solar system revolve around the Sun in the same direction, which is counter-clockwise when viewed from above the Sun's north pole.

This is also the direction of the Sun's rotation. This uniformity is believed to be a result of the way the solar system formed from a rotating disk of gas and dust.
