  • Leo and Orion: Finding Constellations in the Night Sky
Leo, the lion, is located to the east of Orion in the night sky.

Here's a simple way to visualize it:

    * Imagine Orion as a giant hourglass. The three stars that make up Orion's belt point downwards towards the "bottom" of the hourglass.

    * Follow those stars downwards and slightly to the right. You'll find a bright, backwards question mark shape. That's Leo!

Keep in mind that the exact position of both constellations will change throughout the year as the Earth orbits the sun.
