  • Jupiter vs. The Sun: How Many Planets Could Fit?
    You can't fit Jupiter inside the Sun, because the Sun is much, much larger!

    Here's how to think about it:

    * Jupiter's diameter: 142,984 kilometers

    * Sun's diameter: 1,392,684 kilometers

    To figure out how many Jupiters would fit across the Sun, divide the Sun's diameter by Jupiter's diameter:

    1,392,684 km / 142,984 km = approximately 9.73

    So, you could fit almost 10 Jupiters side-by-side across the Sun.

    But remember, the Sun is a sphere, so fitting Jupiters inside would be much more complex.
