    Eris is a dwarf planet located in the Kuiper Belt, which is a region of icy objects beyond the orbit of Neptune in our solar system.

    So, while Eris is part of the Milky Way galaxy, it is not a planet and it orbits our sun, not the center of the Milky Way.
