  • Olbers' Comet: When Will It Be Visible Again?
Olbers' Comet (officially designated 13P/Olbers) is not a comet that can be seen with the naked eye. It is a faint, periodic comet that has a long orbital period of about 71 years.

The last time Olbers' Comet was at perihelion (its closest point to the Sun) was in 1956. Its next perihelion passage is predicted to be in 2027. However, even during its closest approach to the Sun, it is unlikely to be visible to the naked eye.

You will need a telescope to observe Olbers' Comet.
