  • Understanding the Sun's Apparent Rise: Earth's Rotation Explained
The sun doesn't actually "rise" in the sense of being created. The sun is a giant star that exists independently of Earth. The apparent rising of the sun is due to the Earth's rotation.

    Here's how it works:

    * Earth's Rotation: Our planet spins on its axis, completing one full rotation roughly every 24 hours.

    * Perspective: As Earth rotates, different parts of the planet face the sun. When our location faces the sun, we experience daylight. As we rotate away from the sun, we experience night.

So, the "rising" of the sun is a result of Earth's movement, not the sun itself changing its position.
