  • Understanding Visible Light: Its Position in the Electromagnetic Spectrum
Visible light occupies a very small portion of the electromagnetic spectrum, nestled between infrared radiation and ultraviolet radiation.

Here's a simplified way to think about it:

    * Lower frequency, longer wavelength: Radio waves, microwaves, infrared radiation

    * Visible light: The colors we see (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet)

    * Higher frequency, shorter wavelength: Ultraviolet radiation, X-rays, gamma rays

So, visible light is right in the middle, allowing us to see the world around us!
