  • Jupiter and Venus Conjunction: Best Viewing Times & What to Expect
Conjunctions between Jupiter and Venus are common, as they occur every 13 months or so. During a conjunction, the two planets appear close together in the sky, and they may even appear to overlap each other. The best time to observe a conjunction of Jupiter and Venus is shortly before sunrise, when both planets are visible in the eastern sky. This is because Jupiter and Venus are both bright planets, and they are therefore more visible when the sky is dark. In addition, the two planets are usually positioned high in the sky at this time, making them easier to see.
