  • Taurus Constellation: Location, Visibility & Identifying Features
Taurus is located in the Northern Hemisphere and can be best seen during the months of October through March. It can be easily identified by locating the prominent V-shaped cluster which marks the Bull's head containing the bright red giant star Aldebaran (sometimes also referred to as the "Bull's Eye"). Taurus lies east of Aries as part of the Zodiac and its nearby celestial neighbors include Orion, Cetus, Perseus, Auriga, and Gemini.
