  • Cassini-Huygens Mission: Arrival, Exploration & Discoveries of Saturn
    NASA's Cassini–Huygens spacecraft

    * Arrived in orbit around Saturn on July 1, 2004, becoming the first spacecraft to orbit the planet.

    * It spent 13 years studying the planet and its moons.

    * The spacecraft was intentionally sent into Saturn's atmosphere in September 2017, ending its mission.

    Some of Cassini–Huygens' notable achievements:

    * Discovered numerous new moons orbiting Saturn, including Enceladus, which has a subsurface ocean that may be habitable.

    * Studied the planet's rings, revealing their complex structure and composition.

    * Provided detailed images of Saturn's atmosphere, including its iconic hexagonal-shaped storm.

    * Sent the Huygens probe to land on Titan, Saturn's largest moon.

    * Huygens was the first spacecraft to successfully land on Titan, and it provided valuable data on the moon's atmosphere, surface, and climate
