  • Hubble vs. Gran Telescopio Canarias: Which is the World's Largest Telescope?
    The Hubble Space Telescope is not currently the largest telescope in the world. The title currently belongs to the Gran Telescopio Canarias, located on the island of La Palma in the Canary Islands. It has a primary mirror diameter of 10.4 meters (34 feet), while Hubble's primary mirror is 2.4 meters (7.8 feet) in diameter.
