As of my last update in September 2018, Saturn is known to have 82 moons. This number may change as new discoveries are made and confirmed, but Saturn's moon system is quite extensive and ranks second only to Jupiter in the Solar System. Saturn's moons range in size and composition, with some of the larger ones, such as Titan and Enceladus, being of particular interest to scientists. Titan, in particular, has a complex and Earth-like atmosphere and even possesses liquid methane lakes on its surface.
