  • Benedict's Test vs. Fehling's Test: Sensitivity Comparison
Benedict's test is more sensitive than Fehling's test. Both Fehling's and Benedict's tests are used to detect the presence of reducing sugars, but Benedict's test is more sensitive and can detect lower concentrations of reducing sugars. This is because Benedict's test uses a copper sulfate solution that is more easily reduced than the copper sulfate solution used in Fehling's test. As a result, Benedict's test can detect reducing sugars at lower concentrations than Fehling's test.
