The Pokémon Go app is available for free from the App Store and Google Play. Once you've downloaded and installed the app, open it and tap on the "Sign In" button.
If you don't already have a Pokémon Trainer Club account, you'll need to create one. To do this, tap on the "Create Account" button and enter your email address, username, and password.
After you've created your account, you'll be able to choose your avatar. You can choose from a variety of different characters, including male and female avatars.
Once you've chosen your avatar, you'll be taken to the main map screen. The map will show you your location and the locations of nearby Pokémon. To catch a Pokémon, simply tap on it and then throw a Poké Ball at it.
As you catch more Pokémon, you'll level up. Leveling up will allow you to catch more powerful Pokémon and access new features in the game.
Once you reach level 5, you'll be able to join a team. There are three teams to choose from: Team Valor, Team Mystic, and Team Instinct. Each team has its own unique colors and logo.
After you join a team, you'll be able to battle other players in Gyms. Gyms are located at various landmarks throughout the world. To battle a Gym, simply tap on it and then select the Pokémon you want to use.
As you play Pokémon Go, you'll collect a variety of items. These items can be used to help you catch Pokémon, power up your Pokémon, and heal your Pokémon.
Once you have multiple Pokémon, you can trade them with other players. To trade Pokémon, simply tap on the "Trade" button in the main menu and then select the Pokémon you want to trade.
