  • Tracking Apollo 13's Aquarius: Where is the Lunar Module Now?
The Apollo 13 lunar module, named Aquarius, was jettisoned into space after the mission. It was not designed to land on the Moon, and its primary purpose was to get the crew back to Earth safely.

After successfully completing its role in the rescue mission, the lunar module was left to orbit the Sun along with the Apollo 13 command module. While the exact location of Aquarius is not known, it is believed to be somewhere in the vast expanse of space.
