    The moon doesn't actually "go" anywhere during the day. It's still there, orbiting the Earth just like it does at night. The reason we can't see it during the day is because the sun is so bright that it washes out the moon's light.

    Think of it like this: if you have a tiny flashlight and try to shine it in the middle of a sunny day, you won't be able to see its light. It's the same with the moon. The sun's light is just much stronger.

    However, sometimes you can actually see the moon during the day, especially if it's a full moon or a very bright crescent moon.
