  • When Does the Sun Reach Its Highest Point at the Equator?
The sun appears directly overhead at the Equator on two specific days of the year:

    * March Equinox: Around March 20th or 21st.

    * September Equinox: Around September 22nd or 23rd.

These days are called equinoxes because the Earth's axis is tilted neither towards nor away from the sun, resulting in equal day and night lengths across the globe.
