  • Orion Constellation: How to Find It in the Night Sky
You can find the constellation Orion in the northern hemisphere's winter sky and the southern hemisphere's summer sky. It is visible in the evening from November to February in the northern hemisphere and from May to August in the southern hemisphere.

    Here's how to find it:

    * Look for three stars in a row: This is Orion's belt.

    * Find the red giant star Betelgeuse: It's at Orion's upper left shoulder.

    * Find the blue supergiant star Rigel: It's at Orion's lower right foot.

Orion is one of the most recognizable constellations due to its distinctive shape and bright stars. It's also home to many interesting objects, including the Orion Nebula, a stellar nursery where new stars are born.
