  • Understanding Force: Magnitude and Direction Explained
Force is described by two things:

    1. Magnitude: This refers to the strength of the force. It's how much force is being applied. We measure magnitude in units like Newtons (N).

    2. Direction: This tells us which way the force is acting. For example, a force pushing a box to the right has a different direction than a force pulling it upwards.

So, to fully understand a force, you need to know both how strong it is and in what direction it's acting.
