    There are actually more than three non-contact forces, but here are three of the most commonly cited:

    Other non-contact forces include:

    * Strong Nuclear Force: This force holds the nucleus of an atom together. It is the strongest force in the universe.

    * Friction: While technically a contact force, friction can also occur between objects without direct contact, such as the air resistance on a moving car.
