  • Conductors: Materials That Easily Allow Electric Charge Flow
Materials that allow charge to flow easily are called conductors.

    Here's why:

    * Conductors have free electrons: These electrons are not tightly bound to the atoms in the material, and can move freely throughout the material. When a voltage is applied, these free electrons flow, creating an electric current.

    * Examples of conductors: Metals like copper, silver, gold, and aluminum are excellent conductors. Other conductors include graphite, saltwater solutions, and some plasmas.

Let me know if you want to know about the opposite of conductors, which are insulators!
