  • Ferromagnetic Materials: Properties, Examples & Applications
    A material that can be magnetized is called a ferromagnetic material.

    Here are some examples of ferromagnetic materials:

    * Iron (Fe)

    * Nickel (Ni)

    * Cobalt (Co)

    * Gadolinium (Gd)

    * Some alloys, like steel and alnico

    These materials have a strong attraction to magnets and can be easily magnetized themselves. This is due to the alignment of their magnetic domains, which are small regions within the material where the magnetic moments of individual atoms are aligned.
