  • Constant Speed Doesn't Mean No Acceleration: A Physics Explanation
    Here's a classic example:

An object moving in a circle at a constant speed.

    * Constant Speed: The object maintains the same speed throughout its journey.

    * Acceleration: Even though the speed is constant, the object's direction is constantly changing. Acceleration is a change in velocity, and velocity includes both speed and direction.

Think about a car going around a roundabout. It might be traveling at 20 mph, but it's constantly changing direction, and therefore, accelerating.
