  • Isaac Newton and the Laws of Motion & Gravity: A Comprehensive Overview
The laws of gravity and motion were developed by Sir Isaac Newton.

    * Laws of Motion: Newton formulated three laws of motion that describe the relationship between an object's motion and the forces acting on it. These laws are:

    * First Law of Motion (Law of Inertia): An object at rest will stay at rest, and an object in motion will stay in motion at a constant velocity unless acted upon by a net external force.

    * Second Law of Motion: The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the net force acting on it and inversely proportional to its mass.

    * Third Law of Motion: For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

    * Law of Universal Gravitation: Newton also developed the law of universal gravitation, which states that every particle of matter in the universe attracts every other particle with a force that is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between their centers.

These groundbreaking discoveries revolutionized our understanding of the physical world and formed the foundation of classical physics.
