  • Newton's Second Law: How Force Affects Acceleration
    If you double the net force on an object, the acceleration will also double.

    This is due to Newton's Second Law of Motion, which states:

    F = ma

    Where:

    * F is the net force acting on the object

    * m is the mass of the object

    * a is the acceleration of the object

    This equation shows a direct proportional relationship between force and acceleration. If you increase the force while keeping the mass constant, the acceleration will increase proportionally.
