  • Water at 0°C: Liquid vs. Solid (Ice) Explained
At 0 degrees Celsius, water can exist in two physical states:

    * Liquid: Water is in its liquid state at 0 degrees Celsius. This is the most common state of water we encounter in everyday life.

    * Solid (Ice): Water can also exist as ice at 0 degrees Celsius. This is the point where water transitions between liquid and solid states.

Important Note: While 0 degrees Celsius is the freezing point of water, it's not the only temperature at which water can be in both liquid and solid states. Water can exist as a mixture of liquid and ice within a certain temperature range around 0 degrees Celsius due to factors like pressure and impurities.
