  • Understanding Velocity When Displacement is Constant
If displacement is not changing as a function of time, this means the object is not moving and its velocity is zero.

    Here's why:

    * Displacement is the change in position of an object.

    * Velocity is the rate of change of displacement over time.

If displacement is constant, there is no change in position. Therefore, the rate of change of displacement (velocity) must be zero.
