* Acceleration: Acceleration is the rate of change of velocity. Velocity has both magnitude (speed) and direction.
In uniform circular motion, even though the speed is constant, the direction of the velocity is constantly changing. This change in direction means there is an acceleration.
The acceleration in uniform circular motion is always directed towards the center of the circle. It's called centripetal acceleration.
