  • How Force Affects Acceleration: A Physics Explanation
    According to Newton's Second Law of Motion, acceleration is directly proportional to the force applied. This means that if you double the force, you will double the acceleration, assuming the mass remains constant.

    Formula:

    * F = m * a

    Where:

    * F is the force

    * m is the mass

    * a is the acceleration

    Example:

    If you apply a force of 10 Newtons to an object with a mass of 2 kg, the acceleration will be 5 m/s². If you double the force to 20 Newtons, the acceleration will also double to 10 m/s².
