    Imagine you're pushing a toy car across the floor. That's a force!

    When you push the car *away* from you, that's called a pushing force. It makes the car move in the direction you push it.

    There's another kind of force that can also move things away: a pulling force. Think about a magnet pulling a metal paperclip towards it. Even though you can't see the force, it's strong enough to move the paperclip!

    So, to make an object move away, you can use either a pushing force or a pulling force.
