  • Understanding Gravity: The Fundamental Force of Attraction
Gravity is a fundamental force of nature. Here's why:

    * It's one of the four fundamental forces: The universe is governed by four fundamental forces:

    * Strong Nuclear Force: Holds the nucleus of atoms together.

    * Weak Nuclear Force: Responsible for radioactive decay.

    * Electromagnetic Force: Governs interactions between electrically charged particles.

    * Gravity: The force of attraction between objects with mass.

    * It's universal: Gravity affects everything that has mass, from tiny particles to giant galaxies.

    * It's long-range: Gravity's influence extends infinitely, though it weakens with distance.

    * It's always attractive: Unlike the electromagnetic force, which can be attractive or repulsive, gravity only attracts.

Important Note: While gravity is a fundamental force, we don't fully understand its nature. Scientists are constantly researching and trying to unify gravity with the other fundamental forces.
