  • Understanding Zero Velocity: What Happens When an Object Stops?
When the velocity of an object is zero, it means the object is not moving. Here's why:

    * Velocity is a measure of both speed (how fast something is moving) and direction.

    * If an object has zero velocity, it means it has zero speed, and therefore it's not changing its position.

Important Note: Just because an object has zero velocity at a particular moment doesn't mean it will always have zero velocity. It could be momentarily at rest before starting to move again.
