  • Physics Problem: Which Falls Faster – Marble, Book, or Stick?
They will all hit the ground at the same time!

    Here's why:

    * Gravity's Constant Pull: The force of gravity acts equally on all objects, regardless of their mass or shape (as long as air resistance is negligible). This means everything accelerates downwards at the same rate, approximately 9.8 m/s².

    * Ignoring Air Resistance: Air resistance is a force that opposes motion through the air. Lighter objects are more affected by air resistance than heavier ones. Since we're told to ignore air resistance, it doesn't factor into our answer.

In a vacuum (where there's no air), a feather and a bowling ball would fall at the same rate and hit the ground simultaneously.
