  • Net Force: Understanding Balanced Forces and Zero Net Force
When a pair of balanced forces acts on an object, the net force is zero.

    Here's why:

    * Balanced forces are equal in magnitude (strength) and opposite in direction.

    * Net force is the overall force acting on an object. It's calculated by adding up all the forces acting on the object, taking into account their directions.

Since balanced forces cancel each other out, the sum of their forces is zero, resulting in no net force.
