  • Force, Mass, and Acceleration: Understanding Newton's Second Law
    When you multiply an object's mass by its acceleration, you get its force.

    This is described by Newton's Second Law of Motion:

    Force = Mass x Acceleration

    This means that the greater the mass of an object, or the greater its acceleration, the greater the force acting upon it.
