  • Does Speed Affect Mass? Understanding the Relationship
Increasing the speed of an object does not affect its mass.

    Here's why:

    * Mass is a fundamental property of matter that represents the amount of "stuff" in an object. It remains constant regardless of the object's speed.

    * Speed is a measure of how quickly an object changes its position.

While increasing speed does affect other properties like kinetic energy and momentum, mass remains unchanged.
