  • Net Force: Understanding Balanced Forces and Zero Result
When a pair of balanced forces acts on an object, the net force that results is zero.

    Here's why:

    * Balanced forces are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.

    * Net force is the overall force acting on an object, calculated by adding up all the individual forces.

Since balanced forces cancel each other out, the net force becomes zero. This means the object will either remain at rest or continue moving at a constant velocity (Newton's First Law of Motion).
