    That's called Newton's Third Law of Motion, which states:

    For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.

    In simpler terms, when one object exerts a force on another object (the action force), the second object exerts a force back on the first object (the reaction force). These forces are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.
