  • Understanding Gravitational Force: Mass and Distance
The amount of gravitational force between two objects depends on:

    1. Mass of the objects: The more massive the objects are, the stronger the gravitational force between them. This is why we are attracted to the Earth, which has a much greater mass than us.

    2. Distance between the objects: The closer the objects are to each other, the stronger the gravitational force. This is why we feel a stronger pull from the Earth when we are standing on its surface compared to when we are in space.
