Here's why:
* Density: Black holes are incredibly dense, packing an enormous amount of mass into a tiny space.
* Escape Velocity: The gravity of a black hole is so strong that not even light can escape it. This is called the "event horizon."
* Singularity: At the center of a black hole is a singularity, a point of infinite density where the laws of physics as we know them break down.
While other objects like neutron stars and supermassive stars also have very strong gravity, nothing comes close to the gravitational pull of a black hole.
