    The two particles that have roughly the same mass are protons and neutrons.

    * Protons have a mass of approximately 1.007276 atomic mass units (amu).

    * Neutrons have a mass of approximately 1.008665 amu.

    While there is a slight difference in their masses, it's often considered negligible for many calculations.
