  • Types of Motion: Translational, Rotational, and Vibrational
Here are three different ways objects can move:

    1. Translational Motion: This is the simplest type of motion. The object moves from one point to another in a straight line. Think of a car driving down a road or a ball rolling across the floor.

    2. Rotational Motion: The object spins or rotates around a fixed axis. Examples include a spinning top, a revolving door, or the Earth rotating on its axis.

    3. Vibrational Motion: The object moves back and forth in a repetitive way around a fixed point. Think of a pendulum swinging or a guitar string vibrating when plucked.

These are the three fundamental types of motion, but objects can also exhibit combinations of these, making their movement more complex.
