There is no radiative zone within the Earth. The radiative zone is a layer in the Sun's interior. It is located between the convective zone and the core, and it is approximately 240,000 miles (386,000 km) thick. The temperature at the bottom of the radiative zone is about 27 million degrees Fahrenheit (15 million degrees Celsius).
